CPU & GPU Battle!!!

Flunders

Junior Member
This is about overclocking CPU and Graphics card really. Anyway I can overclock my CPU (no graphics card overclock) fine and it runs prime stable, all games... etc. I overclock my graphics card (no cpu overclock) and it runs stable. However overclock them both at the same time using the stable settings I found before then the computer goes crazy! It crashes out on Prime, 3Dmark and everything! Whats happening?

Ah, power supply! Of course!!! I only have a 320W which is shown below in my specs.

Right my specs are as follows:

Damn I was going to OC my video card after I was done OCing the CPU. Guess I will have to install my TruePower 480. My Thermaltake runs fine now, but I know it won't handle both overclocks.

You know your TT won't handle both overclocks? What's its power rating? TT PSUs are nothing like TT's other products in that they actually work well. 🙂

I haven't had any problems with it yet. If I ever do, I have an Antec 480 TruePower waiting to take the reigns. I am having stability issues with my overclock that I posted about in another thread. I think its memory related though.
