Anyone using a Pentium D 915 can tell me about your experience with it.
I recently got mine.

Also...I use a 6600GT. I'm upgrading....
I ordered a SAPPHIRE Radeon X850XT.

Please tell me what to expect from this combination as i don't really know much about ATI cards. Also about how the dual core really works with your GFX Card.

Okay, your processor is going to work exactly the same with any video card. Having a dual-core doesn't change anything, at least as far as your video card's concerned. When going from a 6600GT (which wasn't a bad card, really) to an X850XT, you'll be able to game at higher resolution, or use more eye candy (AA or AF), and still have a bit higher framerates. Or, you could just keep your resolution and quality/AA & AF options the same, and just have much higher framerates.

Thats very nice to hear.
I play my games at 1024x768.
What is the noticable difference between 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolutions?

I noticed that the 10x7 is a 4:3 screen ratio and the 12x10 is a 5:4.
Is that widescreen? Please explain.

The difference is that you'll get lower framerates, or be able to use less eye candy. Oh, and everything on the screen will be much smaller. I have a 19" monitor that will do 1600x1200, and the highest resolution I ever (actually, always) game at is 1152x864. I bought a 19" monitor so things would be larger, not smaller.:D

so you are suggesting that i continue to game at 1024x768 (which is quite fine for me by the way)?
