Am using mobile xp 2400+ the 35 watt cpu.
right now am running at 2.4 gig. with 200 x 12 and 1.65 volts. i ran 3dmark03 with this speed, got 5927 on second trial.
am using thermalright sp-97 w/ neo back plate on my lanparty nf2 ultra B mobo.
i had been getting temperatures above 54 degrees on this cpu on cold boot.
yesterday, i got as high as 63 degrees.
the sp-97 is famous for keep idle temperatures under 40 degrees and load temperatures under 50 degrees.
this morning i started my pc, it booted up 33 degrees and went to 41 degrees after loading into windows.
i checked the temp and restarted my system and it went to 46 degrees.
i restart again and it goes to 51 degrees, and i restart again and it goes 54 degrees.
so i slap this TT 80 mm fan that draws 72 cfm of air and is quite loud but has speed adjustment.
so the temp drops drastically from 54 degrees to 41 degrees.
what is going on here.
is something wrong with the cpu or the heatsink is not living up to its performance.
yesterday i benchmarked my system all night and i didn' hit above 40 degrees.
but why am getting so high temps.
someone help me out please.
