CPU getting too hot

I have
an I7 4790k 4.00Ghz (not overclocked)
a Cooler master hyper 212x
a Biostar Z97x gaming commander motherboard
a Samsung 1080p Monitor on HDMI
a Sapphire radeon r9 280 3gb oc (not overclocked)
a Gamemax SH-700W PSU
a Toshiba 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD
and Avexir 16 Gb 1600Mhz ram
and Gamemax Gaming Case 9527BK Black Chassis

My cpu's ideal tempture is around 40° celsius.

So with these while i play battlefield 1 offline on ultra(resolution scaling 100%) settings my cpu temp goes to 81° celsius and does not goes down under 75° and the temp goes to 83° celsius while on mafia 3 low settings which does not comes down under 76°.

so my question is
1. Is the tempture is ok or i have some faulty hardwares??
2. Does tempture relevant with motherboard??

you didn't mention what case you are using.

If you find your system is running hotter than you like, you need to address case airflow as well as ambient temps.

Do you have the stock Intel Cooler or something aftermarket? How are you checking your CPU temps? Make sure you're using something like RealTemp. This will give you the individual core temps so you know exactly what your CPU temps are.

Generally, I like to keep the warmest core under 85°C or so with stress testing (say Prime95 small FFTs or something similar).

i am using cooler master hyper 212x cpu cooler... and i have on board temp indicator and a signal light which turns from green to red with the tempture. i used stress test with cpu-z which takes the temp to 100

What thermal paste are you using? Perhaps you should re-apply it?

You have a z board and a k processor, so you could set a small negative voltage offset. I.e. "undervolting".

Those aren't the best temps, but they're not the worst temps either. Under load, 80C should be fine.

What makes you say your CPUs ideal temperature is 40C? They're designed for up to 100C.

That is pretty high temp for gaming. Try to reapply thermal paste or try to check if your cpu cooler kicks in at what temp.

Those are terrible temps for what he has. My 4790 barely breaks 60C full load with my 212 EVO spinning at idle. The X is supposed to be slightly better than the EVO.

Reapply thermal paste.

You could run it at 80°C, but if you would check the thermal paste and CPU cooler setup and try to lower the temperature, it would likely benefit the longevity of your processor.
