now which one is the safest..thanks alot guess i am kinda lost and dont wanna mess anything up.. i just built it so.. 🙂 i really dont wanna break it yet!!

It's possible you could do them all (pci clock anyway). Like when there were the celeron 1 days where it was either 66, 75, 88, or 100mhz bus. Many could run at 75mhz fsb (37.5mhz pci) but some couldn't run at 88mhz fsb (44mhz pci). I know Maxtor hard drives are real picky about it, and may not even run if pci was even 5mhz out of spec.

I would think most other parts like nics, sound cards, could work ok up to 40 for sure. I don't know if anything bad happens when it can't run other than maybe freeze. I heard somehting about if hard drives can't, you could get a corrupt registry message.

That all being said considering your cpu can run fine at all those fsbs.

i just changed it to 120/40 and it is at 850.. now my other question is .. is the fans that come with MWAVE ORDERS.. with heatsink and fan.. good enough to keep this thing cool it seems pretty stable right now..

now correct me if i am wrong .. but wouldnt i be better off to do the pencil trick.. and up the multiplier to about 7.5 then keep this frequency and that would get me to about 900 mhz..

eagle you were right about maxtor drives... but i change it to 120/40 and it gets 840mhz.. and if i do 133/33 it gets 900 but it doesnt like that.. considering this is still on the multiplier of 7.. please respopnd someone!! 🙂🙂:
