CPU Fan

My CPU fan is quite loud....what do I need to know to replace it? Any suggestions as to a reasonably quiet and cheaap replacement?

I've got an HP Pavilion PC in case that may bear on the choice....

The only thing you need to know is the size. You should try to find out the specs on your current fan, and how hot your CPU is currently running. This is because you don't want to replace your fan with a quieter one but have your CPU burn up. Try to find the size and brand of your fan, then someone can give you a recommendation.

You need to measure what size fan you have then go to 2cooltech.com or coldcpu.com and get a low db fan.
