CPU Fan

Hey, I was putting my tornado on my SLK-800U...I was wondering, which way is the air supposed to flow? The fan blows towards the grille, but of course i took the grille off...so am i supposed to face the fan with the "grille" up, or with the "grille" down? Like the fan blows towards the grille, pretty much what I need to know, is the air supposed to blow into the heatsink, or blow away from the heatsink? Thanks!!!

i noticed a few C temp drop with the label (grille) down [ air BLOWING ONTO the heatsink ].

i don't have the greatest case for air flow, but if i had a case with a side fan, i'd prolly see even greater drop in temps. fresh cool air stuffed into the case while the cpu fan pulling and BLOWING air into the heatisnk.

alright, thanks a lot...that's what i thought...but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Nope, you're right!

Air blows into heatsink.
Grill goes on top of fan so you dont lose a finger.

Your fingers mean nothing to the fan. The grill is to protect the blades from harmful objects such as organic articulated protrusions.
