CPU fan connects to PS connector, not mainboard.

Well, I am using an 80mm fan on my heatsink with a regular power supply connector. My system won't power on without a fan plugged into the mainboard connector. I turned off "cpu fan warning" in my system setup screen, but it didn't help. Where can I get a converter and is there something I can do temporraily without keeping a 2nd fan plugged in?

You can get a 3 pin to 4 pin fan power adapter here. Leaving a 3 pin fan plugged in as a temporary fix is probably your best bet.
