CPU died an "accelerated wear off death" due to ockin

Hey, I have my 1700+ at 1.825Vcore 148FSB right now, I was wondering how much is really reduced the CPU lifetime by overclocking, rising Vcore and stuff, would good heat disipation solve it? Anyone's CPU really died because of that? I mean... Would it stop working one day? It's a pretty confusing thing to me

yah

<< Anyone's CPU really died because of that? >>

not from OC'ing.

<< I mean... Would it stop working one day? >>

Depends.. if you provide good cooling to maintain acceptable temps and good voltage flow provided by your PSU, it will not stop working in any day, otherwise it can.

it won't be confusing after years of experience in OC'ing. More you learn about OC'ing and experience on the practice of OC'ing, the more u'll know.
