I'm running a 1.9ghz Athlon, 10.5x181 FSB. Which is around the speed of a 2300 you could say, so pretty close in speeds to a 2400, if not faster because of my much higher FSB speeds.
I get around 2.5 - 3.5 hour WUs. Depends on how "hard", angle rating, or whatever its called, of the WU.
Well, u may be looking forward to the 2400's and 2600's but I really want the 2800. Now, why is that? Cuz it has 166FSB and 512Kb L2 Cache! Now that's gonna start cutting thru WU's!

Well, I would rather go for the PIV's than an XP.. I mean, from a 2.0Ghz to a 2.6Ghz.. Dasm! 🙂
Just like the old 1.6a which is almost "guaranteed" to run @ 2200+ Mhz!
I can't wait to see what a PIV 2.8Ghz @ 3.2Ghz+ would do to a wu! :Q 😀
No way an XP could beat those times!
I can't remember the link but someone in here posted a few weeks ago with a link about roadmaps for AMD processors or something. I think the 2800 is being released either Q4 or Q1 2003. I'll try and find the article.
