Regarding these two coolers, Alpine 12 and Alpine CO, one uses fluid dynamic bearing while the other uses dual ball bearing, respectively. Which one is better?

Solution
Are you saying fluid dynamic bearing is better than dual ball bearing ?
I said that a fan from a quality manufacturer will last a long time regardless if it's FDB, rifle, ball bearing, etc.

Neither of those coolers are what I would consider budget options (basically like a stock Intel cooler), and they both have 6 year warranties from Arctic, so I wouldn't put too much thought in which one to buy.

Heartbreaker

A lot of cheap "Fluid Dynamics" look like they have more in common with sleeve bearings. I would say the one with Dual Ball Bearings would last longer.

Also CO stands for Continuous Operation, so it should last longer.

Hope those are the same ones. ;)

Ball bearings typically last longer, but are also often noisier than other kinds (FDB, rifle, etc).

However, both if both are from a quality manufacturer, both should last a long time (long enough to not really worry about it).

O I see, but which one of those, would you recommend?
