CPU comparison

That being said, it is very convenient how they've laid that out.

Unfortunately, the validity of the results is very questionable.

I wonder how old this article is. They don't list the newer AMD 64 cores such as Venice and San Diego, but they do list the P4 3.72 EE CPU.

Thanks for the link.

Since you stated your PIV Willamette at 1.8 encoded faster than your AMD64 I can see why you like Tomshardware so much. I have to wonder after this post if you are a true troll in the fud sense or whether you just are a contrarian that likes to see people get upset by your posts.

Edit: For grammar "that" after contrarian should be "who"

you are funny as fvck, because of your pure stupidity

THG SUCKS ASS <<Intel ASS>>

haha, you guys are all fan boys.

That bein said, I like toms hardware, mainly because of the articles, not the benchmark comparisons of cpus and the like. I also like hardocp.

Next you're gonna tell me newegg blows 🙂

yup ! He needs a ban, and I tried many times, but I gave up.

I like how Tom's sets up their articles. They have huge graphs and use so much different hardware and so many different tests! But, biased data really ruins it...

And by the way, why so much hate for Fatty4ksu. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I don't see any reason to be so cruel. It is just PC hardware after all...

You like how Toms uses like 1991 HTML with bright yellow of all colors background?

Or how about with about 25 words per page as you click though an aricle with zero substance and poor translation (from german of course).

Or with no print feature.

Blah Toms sucks hard. I can barly stand following a link to there after becoming turned on to the likes of Techreport..Anandtech..Xbitlabs..

Toms was better when he owned it..go look at some older reviews like from 2000 or so.

I like how folks denounce THG without citing any evidence.

After the X2 vs 840 P-D extreme fiasco, you have to ask ?

LOL i remember that ******.

Man oh man that was a ****** joke

Zebo, don't you think it's nice that they compare so many different CPUs though? Despite the fact that the data is flawed I still like the design. Sure more written material would be nice, but you cite Xbitlabs as being good, yet I find their articles difficult to read at times translation wise.

They cherry pick applications to make Intel look good and their editors are bias as can be. This is one of those threads that will just piss people off, locking this thread would be the best idea.

Without getting into a lot of particulars the site really skewed the testing of a "live online" dual between AMD and Intel cpu's. It was clearly a manipulated investigation on the operators part. Do a search, you will find all the information you need to pass judgement.

I also like some of their videos 🙂

Ya, I remember that case review and they picked the thermaltake(which wasn't too bad), and that horrible ASUS case 🙂

I'm really big on the centurion 5 cases, they seem really good to me.
