cpu cleaning........

I know that most of you guyz use 99% alcohol solution to clean your heatsink and the apply a new layer of artic silver...

I'm just wondering, do you also use the 99% alcohol for cleaning the processor, i mean its ok with Athlon 64 because their bigger but the LGA's from intel are small..

How do i clean an LGA processor???

I use 91% alcohol. It's the closest to purity I found, and it works.

Heck, I just used a generic 70% isopropyl alcohol and it cleaned my cpu and heatsink nice. Got a sweet cool running rig too. 😀

90% was the highest I could find. It a buck or two at your local drug store.
Make sure to get some nail polish remover with that 🙂
