Well, I have just goofed up connecting my L1 jumpers on my duron. I was using the defrosting compound and I think that I may have connect two of the jumpers. I tried to use the needle to scrape off the compound but I am not sure if it worked. There is still silver conecting them but the brown is gone. Would you guys suggest:

1: Using nail polish remover and try to rub it all off and start again.

2: Wait 24hrs and try it anyway.

3: Get new CPU.

 
Go to the place that you bought the compound from and ask them what to use to remove it. If you're sure nail polish remover gets rid of it, do 1.
