i have an amd 2100+ with an slk 700 and panflo 92mm fan running off of a 5v lead.
my panflo is sucking air as opposed to blowing, and my cpu is not overclocked.

i have an asus a7n8x-e dlx with an ASB100 sensor if that helps, but my temps keep staying around

56c for my cpu and 41c for my mobo, any ideas? is this a sensor malfunction or if not what should i do to cool it down, i want to overclock and i would like to figure out my heat problem before i do so.

Turn your Panaflo up to 7V, and see if it helps. First thing to do is get those temps under control. Then you can proceed to finding out what went wrong. Waffles might be right; sometimes the mobo temps are inaccurate. On top of that, Asus is notorious for being 10+ degrees off at times. If you want to, open up your computer and put your finger near the HSF contact point. If it is HOT, you know the temp readings are somewhat accurate. If it's not uncomfortable, then Asus has delivered on their reputation. 😉

ok i put the panflo on 7v and now im waiting to see a change. should the fan be sucking or blowing? ive heard both before. also this room is quite hot so perhaps thats causing higher temps as well, but im still trying to figure out why its so much higher.

on my a7n8x dlx my temps were much lower. but when that died and i got the a7n8x-e dlx i think thats when my higher temps came
