I built a new computer and the RAMBUS was bad so I had to return it. However the 3DMark score that I got on it was 15,300. Until I get the memory back, I hooked up my old computer and for fun I ran 3DMark. Here is the score and the stats of the computer.

3Dmark score: 292
Computer{/b] Compaq presario 500 mhz celeron with 96 mb RAM and integrated MB/Graphics.

Of course in order for #DMarks to work there needs to be 138 mb of memory but still. I thought that this was hilarious. I took for ever to run and was very choppy.

I did notice to that everything on this computer was so slow it was obnoxious. Boot time. load time, etc.

yeah, that sounds about right for the old 54xx series. How am I on my guess? That thing has a giant 5.25" 4200RPM hard drive and integrated barely 3d accelerated graphics. It's shared memory too. As 3dmark 2001 pulls 64 megs for its textures and whatnot that leaves on 32megs for the rest of your system. What do you expect?

pretty close. its the 5724 model. The memory for my computer better hurry up. This is going to be the kids computer. Which is OK since he likes Nick.com. Those games don't need anything to play. The sad thing is that I looked on the result browser and there were scores as low as 24.
