NFC sucks, end of story

Most definitely. I've been saying all season it doesn't matter who goes to the superbowl from the NFC, be it Philly, Rams, Cowboys, whatever, whoever goes from the AFC is going to win it all. No doubt in my mind.

I just saw the playoff pictures on SNF....in the end, it actually looks BETTER that Dallas lost today. They are now playing @ Carolina the first round. Not only did Dallas already beat Carolina earlier in the season, Green Bay is (IMO) a better team, plus, does anyone REALLY want to travel to Green Bay in January?

never said Dal sucked, only said their DEF was overrated, and no, I think KC needs a better DEF. I think the DAL O is good, but could use a new run game. Only stated the defense was overrated. But - DAL did have a fairly easy schedule.

Dallas only had an easy schedule because half of their opponents decided to suck this year. Going on last year's records, they had the 2nd toughest schedule in the league going into the season. How is the defense overrated? They have been #1 in the league since week 4. I don't understand how you can make such a statement...put them with a stronger offense, and it would be a complete team. The receivers are good...fullbacks are good...TE's are good..line is good. Quincy is too immature, Hambrick is awful. An all around good offense marred by the two most important positions being manned by less than competant players.

Too much hype about the DAL DEF, way too much. The hype was made to sound like it was going to give on an awesome show, pretty much the same hype the Bucs had last year when their defense would play like an offense, that is why I think the D was overrated, don't get me wrong, I think the DEF is good, but not as great as pictured by everyone else.

Also - I feel that CAR will beat DAL when they meet in playoffs. To me, CAR is just a better team, and your statement about a young QB and a better RB, couldn't agree less, DAL has potential to be an awesome team, also needs work on O-Line. But to each it's own.

Only New England on the AFC side looks to be really feared. Indy still looks beatable, as well as the Titans. I think people are underestimating the NFC. They are somehwat inconsisitent I admit, but do have the talent and ability to tear it up.

This is true, they are #1 on stats, but I can guarantee you if they had played each team over again, or if hte opponent wasn't plagued with injuries or other reasons - (NYJ - Injured Pennington, ARI - Didn't Start McCown, BUF - Missing Price, WAS - Injured Ramsey, Candidate, and Betts, NYG - Injured Collins, Hilliard, Shockey) All of these are key Offensive players, and I bet you if all were starting or non-injured, DAL stats would be different, but then again, so would ever other teams stats if there were no such things as injuries. I can tell you that #1 DEF won't be a repeat for next year though.

Come on...Arizona? Washington? Know why Ramsy was hurt? First time they played, Dallas knocked him out of the game. If anything the defense will be better next year. They only need 2 more players...a better right side corner and a second pass rushing DE. The secondary will just keep getting better, Newman and Williams are already among the best in the league, in their first and second games. The head coach of the Sants called Newman the best player in the NFL. The linebackers are extremely solid, and you can't deny that Glover is still a great player. The defense will only improve.

Actually, Ramsey wasn't hurt until after the Seahawks game. As for the DEF being better next year, to each it's own, but I feel DAL will not go +10 wins next year, and I don't feel their DEF will be #1 again. There is just too many better DEF is the NFL.
