Beat them 34 - 6. The Texans could only muster two field goals all night. David Carr looked like a rookie again and the Dallas defense smothered the Texans offense. Dallas had nearly double the Texans yards. Is there really any question who will be the better team in Texas this year?

:p

Yeah, seeing as how this is the preseason and doesn't really matter, the texans could easily have been holding back.

However, both teams suck, imnsho... Patriots forever!

EDIT: Let me ammend my post by saying Quincy Carter was on _fire_ last night, and if it wasn't for the asshat Galloway dropping the ball the score would have been significantly higher.

So the Texans were holding back and the Cowboys were playing full throttle eh? Hahaha yeah right! The Patriots superbowl win was a fluke. They sucked last year and I don't see any improvement this year either.

I guess Aaron Boone might not make the Cowboys roster. Damn! Oh well, at least he had a shot.

Uhoh, someone is still bitter .... Let me tell you, the Pats win wasn't a fluke. It was a combination of destiny and luck. No fluke, it happens every year (to a different team, obviously).

We'll always have that glorious night last season when we embarrassed the hell out of the Cowgirls. :)

the cowboys and the texans reek, compared to a real time they both will be destroyed.

No no you have me wrong. I was very happy the Patriots won the superbowl, it was a Cinderella story. However the Patriots lacked the same magic last season and were exposed for what they are, a mediocre team with several talented players (not unlike my Dallas Cowboys, but still better than Dallas). The Pats had the right defense to counter the Rams but I don't think they were nearly the best team in football that year and I don't expect them back in the title hunt anytime soon. If anyone expects the Patriots to be serious challengers this year, they are smoking crack.

Living in the past I see. It was a good win for a new franchise, but things are turning out different this year. When the Texans make the playoffs, then we can talk about them. But until then, they are still a woefully pathetic expansion team.

Too bad about Romo though. If it wasn't for those fumbles. But anyway, the drive where he tossed the huge bomb downfield was impressive. I like how he eluded a tackle and heaved it out there.

And it was nice to see Randall Williams show up in a game situation. Dallas WR corps is really deep this year.

Yep yep I have to agree. He has good size though and pretty impressive speed. It'll be interesting to see how we do this season

it was all andre johnson's fault. he missed a wide open touchdown pass that could have greatly affected the outcome;)

That is right. A woefully pathetic expansion team that punked your team in the regular season - a game which actually counts. :)

haha..it's always nice to see your team do well regardless of if the game matters or not but Cowboys still have a looooong way to go.

I was pretty psyched after seeing the Redskins destroy everyone last year in preseason. Spurrier's offense was full throttle. but we all know how their season turned out.

Hehe yep preseason doesn't mean too much as far as wins and losses. But watching the Cowboys this year over last, I notice a ton of improvement in execution and discipline. I mean the fat baby Larry Allen looks like heisn't serious about football anymore, and he might just retire this year. This is what I love about Parcells, the ability to weed out those who want to play from those who are mailing it in.

Holding back?

I dont think so, Capers even said he thinks the team has regressed since the first preseason game, and even the scrimmage vs Dallas.

Dallas and Houston dont play in the regular season again until 2005(or was it 2006).

Dallas is a better team then last year, Houston is the same if not worse.
