Not a sock puppet, and it's been stated before that the vaccine doesn't stop the spread and only somewhat reduces symptoms, which defeats the "selfishness" argument, since it's literally a personal choice at that point. Just look at all of the Omicron cases in fully vaccinated people.

Edit: As a side note, how is it selfish to not take the shot if I feel the potential side effects for a younger male (myocarditis, muscle spasms, etc) are not worth it? I have no recourse if something in the shot fucks me up. Isn't it selfish to threaten people's livelihood for making a personal decision involving their health? Where's the concern for obese people or anyone else making unhealthy lifestyle choices using up hospital resources?
Or you could just fucking die from COVID... your call dumbfuck

Things are definitely not locked down. Went out for dinner and drinks last week and weekend, going to dinner tomorrow, going to the MoMa on Sunday as well, just bought timed tickets.

He's going to appeal, but this is making me smile:

He has been told he will be deported but his lawyers have said they will challenge the decision, Australian media report.

The tennis star had been quizzed in a room at Melbourne airport for hours while his visa and exemption status was being investigated.
His team had not requested a visa that permits medical exemptions for being unvaccinated.

It is not clear whether he will remain in Australia while his lawyers attempt to overturn the decision.
Djokovic has not spoken about his vaccination status, but last year he said he was "opposed to vaccination".

I wasn't mad that Tennis Australia decided to give him an exemption, because he is THE draw for the tournament. Personally, I just wasn't going to watch the tournament. Having said that, I don't quite believe that their process of evaluating exemptions is completely anonymized. I don't know his medical chart, but the only plausible reason for an exemption is that he was COVID positive within the past 6 months. Quite probable for an anti-vaxxer.

I am pleased that the Australian people voiced their anger at what appears to be blatant favoritism/commercialism. Hopefully the visa snafu is non-negotiable for the Aussies (as their PM suggested yesterday).

I agree, since the others seem to be related to undergoing serious medical procedures.

Though this would have to be at least his second infection, since it was made public that the was Covid Positive during his Covid spreader tennis tour he created in 2020, much well over a year back.

Though I'm not sure why having Covid gives you an exemption. Having Covid isn't an actual contraindication for getting a vaccine. You can get your vaccine soon after getting Covid.

“The time frame that we recommend for being vaccinated after having a COVID-19 infection is as soon as you’re out of quarantine,” says Dr. Englund.

it sounded like he messed up a form or filled out the wrong one , something that a star of his caliber usually gets to have overlooked , but with the public fervor maybe they had second thoughts, bureaucracies love using technicalities

Did they have existing comorbidities? Every story I've seen thus far of an unvaccinated individual under 40 dying of Covid has been high on the BMI scale. The only exceptions I've seen are a few bodybuilders in their late 30's and 40's, and judging by their physique, they were likely abusing steroids.

You need to stop reading stories and start reading studies.

There is literally no intelligent thought process based on valid information that would conclude in any sense that covid presents a lower risk than the vaccine. None.

If your conclusion is covid is lower risk/impact/cost than the vaccine, you should start over from the beginning and question everything you think you know.

Or pay someone to think for you, cause that will clearly be the best money you ever spent.

How about the fact it reduces chances to spread it to others? That's been one of the main reasons I've seen reported for healthy younger people to get it. Anyways, all of my friends and acquaintances are boosted by now, not sure why it matters if yours don't want to take it.
Why is this funny weblooker? It's a fact at this point not sure why you'd laugh at this.

You are asking how is it selfish to not take the shot, then proceed to list reasons that only includes "I" and "Me" in them. That's the very definition of being selfish.

Last I checked obesity is not transmissible, you dumb fuck.

Over 60 people on vents tonight... 0 are vaccinated. That's a big Z E R O. Vaccinated and boosted come in get sent home. On the step down units, only 1 vaccinated on FiO2's greater than 60%

The full court DERP campaign is failing mate.

Or he's a sock puppet for Weblooker. He repeating the same completely selfish prick argument.

"It probably won't hurt me, so I'll just get it and spread it to other people that it may kill, and that's OK, because I don't care about other people"
What part of the US has been in any sort of "lockdown" since spring 2020?

There are endless (ie, yearly) boosters for influenza, and it's quite effective at keeping it from overwhelming our healthcare system.

Per below.

Omicron is also basically the flu at this point, which is basically how all viruses eventually evolve. The mass hysteria over Omicron is so transparent at this point, it makes no sense. There will always be a new variant or excuse to continue mandates and lockdowns. This is clearly not about a virus anymore, and I'm starting to question if it ever was.

Also, the vaccines still only target the original strain of the virus, and are less effective against the Delta and Omicron variants, so getting endless boosters isn't going to end this.

Regardless of your other posts, which I am too lazy to quote at this time.

Reason for a healthy youngish (29 ain't young anymore, you should be self sufficient by this time) person to get the vaccine shots, is so that people that cannot afford to take time off work or to reschedule/lose clients, because you are raising your grandchildren, have to miss work and reschedule or lose clients because of narcissism of other people.

People who have no reason at all NOT to get the preventative shots.

But these goddamn Narcissists think they don't need the shot, send their goddamn kids to school to get the goddamn staff sick that the fucking school is only in session for one goddamn day before they start with the calls that our grandchildren need to be quarantined until January 12th because of EXPOSURE.

TODAY was the first goddamned day back from holiday break and now school is closed again tomorrow, pre-school until the 12th because the Goddamned SHEEP of Conservative Media, these fucking "free thinking independent fucking idiots" won't do anything because they "think" they are sticking it to "the man"

So now my wife and I have to figure out how to cover another 2 weeks of no school AND ALSO WORK.

You Fucking demented selfish ASSHOLE.

That is why 29 year old healthy people should get the fucking "vaccine" so that the young children do not cause their caregivers to get sick and die or be UNDUELY BURDENED because SCHOOLS shut down to try and contain the spread of a motherfucking "FLU"

Asshole.

You actually think that many of us actually care about our community.

This encapsulates wanna be libertarians to a tee.

Except for most of them, take away the infrastructure of any Western government today that they deem oppressive, and they would be proper fucked in no time.

I'd love to give weblooker and a million of his libertarian compadres a huge part of some of the shithole deep south and say here, this is your land, create your libertarian utopia.

We could make it a reality tv show and watch them de-evolve in no time. Would be hilarious. I'd pay to see that entertainment. Lots of shootings too.
