The governor of Georgia claims that the AIDS vaccine doesn’t work.

“Well, if there was one, it wouldn’t work!”

Kemp appears to have an entire set of memories connected to this non-existent AIDS vaccine—he remembers that people resisted taking it, and then he remembers “education” happening, and finally people would take it after that. And of course the FOX Business anchor just murmurs agreement when Kemp recounts these “memories.” Truly bizarre.

Is this the kind of conspiracy theory that might actually make the dumbfucks go get vaccinated?

Breitbart thinks the left has a fascist agenda? What happened to their socialist agenda?

To them --- I guess if I was paying attention - I would clearly see the left’s communist, islamist, fascist, feminist, gay, socialist, atheist, anarchist agenda.

They MADE me drive drunk by passing laws against driving drunk. It’s THEIR fault!
Thats some 3D level chess right there.

Walking the dog through a nearby park. Heard a couple parks employees on break saying how the virus was man made, eradicated the flu, and the whole thing smelled, like it was a conspiracy.

I know who they voted for

This place is about 40 minutes south of Portland and is getting about as much publicity nationally as Portland did last year. A bunch of a white, ignorant, hateful clown shoes.
It's not so much a covid thing, but this is the same district that banned BLM/Pride flags and was also trying to buck the governors mask mandate.

Speaking of mask mandates, the old rural bumfuckville school district my kids used to attend in downstate IL tried to fuck around and find out. They tried to buck the IL gov's mask mandate. Gov came back and said "Ok, but we aren't going to honor your graduates this year or any sports games you win". They thought about that shortly and guess who's wearing masks now.

Even with as bat shit insane GQP and supporters have gone, I still needed to go check that this was real, and not some kind of sick satire. No big surprise that it is real, but I had to check...

The rational world has been trying everything to get these imbeciles vaccinated, and now all those efforts were really some kind of reverse psychology to stop them from getting vaccinated.

Maybe his crazy (actual reverse psychology) ploy will work by convincing some brain dead Trumpies, that there is a lefty conspiracy to stop them vaccinating.

Imagine being so detached from reality, that you need to hear this kind of crazy conspiracy theory to do the obvious sane, rational thing.

Family gets kicked out of restaurant for wearing masks, Texas

I'm against the stance of the restaurant for obvious reasons, but they did the family a favor. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK are you doing taking your immunocompromised 4 month old out in public, let alone a restaurant where everyone is fucking unmasked? WTF?

Like seriously I'm so fucking mad at the parents.

Could be wrong but if I recall the immunocompromised 4 month old was at home. The parents went out and tried to wear a mask at the bar/restaurant to reduce their risk of bringing something back.

They made a poor choice. If they think it's rough with a 4 month old, wait until they can move around on their own and talk back.

Restaurant owner also sounds like a total douche.

I hope that's accurate. I hope I'm wrong. But even still...that's rough.

I get it. I'm sympathetic. My daughter is one year off treatment for leukemia and we've been locked down in various bubbles for going on 4 years. It fucking sucks. But that's a big fucking risk to take.

It doesn't say anywhere that they took the kid to the restaurant. It sounds like they had someone watch the baby and went out with friends. While it may have been safer not to go out at all, parents do need a break at least every once in a while to maintain their sanity.

See my post above. I understand that. Deciding the best way to accomplish that is to go to a restaurant in a covid Hotspot and everyone is unmasked and drinking (and probably carrying on loudly) is a fucking disaster. There are lots of way to blow off steam. The way they chose was idiotic.

So I posted about my partner's cousin in the hospital with COVID a while back. It's been more than a month and he was intubated recently then died last night. Everyone is upset. My partner pleaded with her mom and aunt (mom of the cousin) to get vaccinated today, but both are still anti-vax. The cousin's sister was still posting anti- nonsense up until a few hours before her brother died.

Soon after, her profile picture and banner were all about her bro, with the typical RIP posts and then the sympathetic replies from friends and family. The mom even posted she's not sure why he had to go so soon. My eyes rolled so very hard.

When asked about what to do about the costs of a funeral in the case of a sudden COVID death, my partner's mom said she's going to start saving since she doesn't want to be a burden, but she will not be forced to get vaccinated. She has evidence that it is bad! (From a friend with Alzheimer's and the wackadoodle websites she's on)

I really wish this disease was a lot more fatal. It would kill off the morons faster and give me a legit excuse to shoot anyone who threatens me with disease.

"But Shorty you fat hairy loser, you already shot a Hooters Parking Lot and Missed!"

There, I said it so you don't have to.

It gives the sense that these people are so mentally weak that they can do nothing - stemming from their own (apparently absent) powers of reason.

The only action they can take is RE-action. How often have we been told about people who voted for Trump just because the democrats were so mean to them. This philosophy frees them from all personal responsibility. They can live in eternal childhood.

Imagine if the democrats would craft a policy that promotes breathing air into your lungs, and pass laws that prohibit people from wrapping drycleaning bags around their heads.

Maybe they should pass a law that says republicans are not allowed to get the vaccine. Might actually work through the magic of reverse psychology.

Tell your partner, sorry for her loss. I'm not sure if it's still on the table, as a lot of COVID federal help has/is ending, but tell them to contact FEMA, they covered up to $9,000 of the funeral costs for my brother, as he died from COVID in June. You have to pay for it all and summit the receipts and stuff to get re-enbursed. My dad handled it all.
