My moms a nurse and she has the Fox News brain rot as well. She finely changed her tune once Covid started spreading like wild fire in Dallas-Fort Worth. Now she stays at home or is at work. Which is good because she’s 67, 2.5 years removed from recovering from cancer, is a 45 year smoker and has heart and lung disease.

Oh it is. She could retire in 6 days with full social security retirement but she won’t. Her hospital originally only had 4 Covid patients during the first few months. They have had a large uptick since mid June. Anyone the needs a vent and the most serious of cases they bounce to a larger hospital. They only keep “mild” hospitalization cases. I dread the day I get a phone call saying she tested positive. I hope it doesn’t happen but it very well could because the people in her town don’t wear masks.

These people can't leave the gene pool fast enough. I have zero sympathy for them. It's unfortunate that those around them are the ones who will also pay the price for their dumb-fuckery. These are the new smokers who don't give a shit about their second hand smoke. Fuck them all.

My late mother was an RN and a life-long Republican, but she was never in favor of any of the things you listed above.
