I know I'm going to display my ignorance of ordnance here (and pay a heavy price) but isn't that thing on his back for outdoor use only?

<shrugs> Considering he's not able to appreciate the impropriety of a fully grown adult making an implied threat that if he can't get his burger and haircut then he's going to blow shit up, I think you're asking a bit much of him: Like him reliably knowing when it's loaded or which end is the business end.

Two young men enter a Target in LA without wearing masks. They are escorted out by security. During the escort they assault the security guards, knocking two of them down and breaking one of their arms. They're now being charged with felony battery. Video of incident:

I'm sure the usuals will be around to call these two what they are, thugs/savages. Amirite?

A little more detail on the incident here:

They're being held right now on $50K bail.

Maybe when your brother decides to punch a security guard, you grab him and tell him to knock it off instead of joining the brawl and earning a prison sentence for yourself as well. Sad!

I just don't understand the mentality. To me this would be like if a person in McDonalds was outraged because they were only allowed 3 napkins and were willing to risk jail for an assassination attempt on the CEO.

The "mentality" is anger and rage. This is not well thought out, rational behavior. It's a good bet those guys are sitting in their cells right now wishing that this never happened.

The more interesting question is where did the rage come from. Did it come from, say, watching too much Fox News?

It would be interesting if there was sufficient scientific basis to conclude that watching too much Fox News has potentially the equivalent effect of drinking way too much.

Yes, perhaps an enlarged amygdala. They need a new version of the old ad with the egg in the frying pan to "this is your brain. This is your brain on Fox News. Any questions?"

We listen to a police/fire scanner during the day frequently. Multiple times since the state's "stay home" orders in March we have heard officers dispatched to the abortion clinic in town. Now it gets no news coverage, and I have not driven by to see the protestors, but I suspect they aren't wearing masks (at least not for health reasons) and probably marched in rallies against the 'stay home' order. You know the same old shit of "my body, my rights", while protesting others exercising the same rights.

The last one I heard, one of the protestors screamed they had a gun, and will kill them when they came out of the clinic.

Oh boy, another idiot that thought his invisible friend was more real than Covid-19. His wife is likely going to die as a result of his stupidity. He says both her, and their invisible friend, will forgive him. If she recovers, he'd better hope she does.

"Brian Hitchens said he thought that the coronavirus "is a fake crisis" that was "blown out of proportion" and "wasn't that serious."

And he was a 'ride share' driver... so how many people did he expose to COVID-19?

Aside from actively spreading it, his admission is good. I hope his wife pulls thru also

Jeez what an asshole. Yes, give that store manager, Tison, a raise, please.

I woke up in a free country’ — Costco shopper gets bounced from store after refusing to wear a mask

Didn't watch the video (at work), but I would have just said, "You're free to shop somewhere else."

I think it's the stable genius virus that's spreading.

I was going to post this in P&N Middle Name thread, but it definitely belongs here:

Wow that’s sad. Doctors should be given more freedom to discharge patients if they refuse treatment and not being held liable after the fact.
