Go suck a covid then, the GQP certainly wants you to, you'll be easier to control that way.

Mind that this is for those hard cases, those hard cases that you get 90% protection from with the booster.

Ill take that factor 10 improvement of my odds while I wait for the Omicron specific vaxx thank you.

But you do you Einsten, you do you.

At some point the "dumb" and "idiot" monikers is gonna be on the mark.

I took the vaccine dude, AND I have been infected, calm down. The chances of me getting really sick WITHOUT it are almost zero, after having had it EVEN lower.

Don't live in fear.

Who the hell is living in fear? Folks here just follow the data AND the guidelines set forth by authority and majority experts in the field.

Dont live in ignorance.

When you're vaccinating kids, who have LESS of chance of dying from Covid than of suicide, so often under the false premise that it would protect the older people around them, I would say you're living with irrational fear. We never used to "use" our kids to protect the old ones.

When I see couples walking their dog in our neighborhood, both MASKED, OUTSIDE with nobody within a 100 yards, I think it's fair to say some of us are living in irrational fear. I just walked to the local supermarket here in LA; at least HALF of all people I saw (perhaps 30 or so) were masked or double masked, OUTSIDE. That does NOT follow the data OR the guidelines.

And now you're straight up lying.
I mean unless this is "friends" that you've made in the anti waxx community.
As a matter of fact, I have literally ZERO friends in the anti-vaxx community. Quite the contrary, I believe some of my idiotic neighbors who've I've argued with over the years in FAVOR of science and medicine could be considered the opposite of friends.

It's this kind of insinuation that proves the insane "binary" attitude you guys have, which is the antithesis of science.

Ignorance? I've spent HUNDREDS of hours during this pandemic learning about immunology and epidemiology; I've tracked the figures on Word-O-Meter and such sources EVERY day. I've read every article I could get my eyes on, from ALL sources, from the most idiotic anti-vax drivel, to the official CDC channels and everything in between. I've had hours and hours of conversations with friends who are docs, or scientists of other plumages. I studied electrical engineering at TU Delft, and even though it was a long time ago, and I wouldn't call myself a scientist, I was taught how to write a proper paper, I learned high level math and statistics.

Now, the more you know, the more you realize how much you DON'T know. I want to learn till I die. By NO means do I want to pretend that I know it all, but I'm not a moron.

What's your pedigree?

How very scientific of you! This is perhaps the worst argument yet in this incredible thread.

Again, we need to stop pretending we can draw valid conclusions from all this data; this thing is NOT over yet. In order to truly assess how much effect out measures had, we MUST wait till the numbers settle. Again, in LA we didn't get our first BIG wave till the end of 2020. By then we knew A LOT about the disease, and we still got hit.

The fact that NY and NJ - specifically the NY metro area was walloped in the very beginning, when the Federal Government was saying this was no big deal, is not a valid argument? On top of that being one of the most crowded areas in the country to boot, but also getting wackede before we knew the severity of it is huge. You are either intentionally dishonest or just low IQ. It has everything to do with the numbers. Holy moly.

Debatable, but the fact is you are not and never will be a native English speaker, yet you attempted to belittle someone else for not being one.

You are an arrogant ass, a liar and a hypocrite.
Belittle? Did you read his/her post? You know it helps to know if someone is conversing in his native language before you respond, no?

It's just hard to get lectured by someone who seems to not be very competent in the language he or she is using.

And again, with the name-calling. Where do you guys come from that that's ok? How come the moderators just let this go on?

You did all that reading and still spout the nonsense you do? That is a feat indeed.

Of course it's a big deal and when enough time has passed to REALLY evaluate which of the taken measures worked and which didn't, we need to include ALL pertinent information. I'm just saying it's WAY too early to draw any real conclusions, but even more then one you are.

Could it be that it's not nonsense?

Thinking about this more, Biden said: "If you get the vaccine, you're not gonna die from Covid". Now we've already at more than 15 thousand full vaxxed dead. That was nonsense.

You just go to love covidiot trolls.

We have 2 that are in a lightning fast race to the bottom of the gene pool with their incessant, ignorant, mouth-breathing posts.

If this situation weren't so serious and with so much at stake, you guys would be great entertainment. Instead, you are just pathetic nobodies that no one takes seriously.

1. Expert epidemiologist advising public elected officials on the best course of actions to get a country through it, all factors considered.

2. In your capacity of being you-tube educated perhaps it would suit you to reserve room for the possibility of you getting some of this wrong as well and maybe you dont know whats going on on the other side of the fence.

3. So we have aggressive Trump anti mask anti vaxx retards runnning around on one end of the spectrum and someone running two masks on the other side of the spectrum.
And your conclusion is that your country's problem is the left running in fear. 404 fear not found. I did find one HIGHLY irrational dude trying to push some weird narrative...seemingly cause he has an ego or something.

You are weird.

You're dancing, waddling, around the question here. What doctors do you know *personally* that is of that stance.

Are you expecting me to give you their phone numbers? What the hell are you talking about? This is ridiculous. You apparently don't believe it's foolish to walk outside with a mask on walking the dog. You and I live in completely different realities I guess.

Does this mean I go questioning your sincerity?

I went to Stedelijk Gymnasium in Leiden, a quarter of my classmates are doctors! This is hilarious! I've met a couple of them here in LA in the 30 years of playing music in just about any place you can imagine. Traveled the world too, talk regularly with a radiologist in Florida, not an anti-vaxer in ANY way, had MANY discussions with her before I got my shot.

Cand. Scient. Computer Science
As in NOT epidemiology.
NOT epidemiology.
NOT epidemiology.
NOT epidemiology.
Am not a doctor of general medicine either. Chemist, biochemist ...
Am not a whole lot of fucking things, this whole lot of fucking things that goes into the computation device that is the public institution of your CDC that then compiles and outputs what society as a whole NEED YOU to fucking do so as to everyone involved comes out of it best.

SURE, spend 200 hours reading shit on the virus, like everyone else here, and imagine yourself a better judge of whats best.

See now i'll have to add arrogance to the list :).
