In the context of his many years of posting on Twitter the idea that this is actually a strategy would not seem to hold water. Really we just have an increasingly angry old man annoyed that he has to be president while unable to comprehend why everybody doesn't love him thus venting for the world to see.

The more time goes by the more I think Howard Stern's advice to him was right on the money.
