Covering-up an ear piercing?

I just got my ear cartilage pierced in 2 places today... is there any inconspicuous way of covering the earrings up (can't take them out for like 12 weeks) because males can't wear earrings where I work. I was thinking maybe like medical tape, or like a bandaid or something. If they ask me about it, I'll just say like I was getting my ear pierced and they screwed up so now the doctor says I have to wear this tape or something.

Ideas?
 
I wasn't allowed to have them at work either, so I used a bandaid to cover them up. I have two in the cartilage so it was a little harder to cover them up.

If they ask why you have a bandaid there just say: "It's personal and I don't want to talk about it."
 
This is probably a stupid question, but if you aren't supposed to have them at your place of business, why did you get them in the first place?

use some medical gauze, it lets it breath better than a bandaid. I sure hope you didn't get it pierced with a gun... if you have no attachment to them right now, i'd takethem out and let them heal up just to make things easier, instead of walking around with a bandage on your ear every day you work.

Get a better job. Or maybe try and get the rule changed. Or be a man, grow some balls and forget the silly band-aid crap.

if you take it out, leave it out. you'll just iritate the wound if you take it in and out
