Cover girl ad's on anandtech

You really should install an ad blocker in your browser. I know they need to pay bills, but my god it's depressing how intrusive/distracting ads have become here. 🙁 Nevermind how slow pages load and how clunky they make navigating. 😡

Since they can't seem to figure out how to layout the page with ads without shifting it down I use an adblocker.

What exactly are the do's and don'ts of apostrophes?
Can't tell if serious.

Shows possession -- dog's bone; ad's duration; lightning's unpredictability; lambs' silence

Or indicates missing letter(s) -- don't = do not; can't = cannot; floor's = floor is, he's = he is, won't = will not; they'd = they would; 'tisn't = It is not

It's kind of a joke but 's CAN be used to indicate possession with a word like "do" that is not normally a noun. Like most things in the English language, the rule has exceptions. Thus the question "what exactly are the do's and don'ts of apostrophes".

I seem to have an ad blockage. Hmmmm.

I had a feeling. Well I Bing-ed it just now, and found this to be a source of conflict.
AFAIC, fake contraction (do's) is fake, and is not exceptional ... whether it aids comprehension or no.
If I have serious concerns about confusion, I'd just capitalize -- DOs & DON'Ts. Of course capitalizing could indicate an acronym like PCs or CDs, but acronyms don't have apostrophes, so should be safe.
