That would depend on why she had an abortion. If all she thought about was feeding her murderous rage, she should be overjoyed to have a new thing to torture.

The decision to persue abortion, is not as easy as many pro-lifers make it out to be. Most likely she cares very much that the kid came, and cares even more that there are significant issues with the childs health.

Just like any incompetently performed surgery, related damages and compensation for them, should be evaluated by the courts.

That's like saying hitler cared about the jews.

Sounds like basis for a lawsuit if they are responsible.

As for the child not getting enough oxygen, was that at the time of delivery or is that a constant, ongoing issue? My daughter almost died at birth because of a prolapsed cord that completely restricted her airflow and caused her to have to be put on a respirator immediately upon birth because she could not get any oxygen herself.

There are extenuating circumstances that I don't think are being completely shared. The doctor could have royally f*cked up here. But this could also be a propaganda campaign being waged by a state that has made it blatantly clear that they would abolish all abortions yesterday if they could.

Only time and the transcripts from the case will tell for sure.

How ignorant can you possibly get?. Most women don't have abortions because they are either too young or too poor to be able to adequatly raise their child, or maybe they got divorced so they would be the only parent. This has absolutely no effect on whether they can love their child when its born.

Simple loophole for the mother... raise the child ultra-religiously, then claim to the child that God intervened in the abortion attempt. Thus the child perceives themself as being extra special.
