I'm not sure if this will work all the time, but I've noticed something. Lets say that you have a coupon for $30 off $100 for a store. Load your cart up with $100 of stuff and then go in and apply the coupon and get the $30 off. Now go back to your cart and remove something and update the cart price. It will still give you the coupon, but the totals less than the required amount. Will this actually go through or will it get caught later on? I was playing around at Staples who had a buy 1 web cam get 1 free and also a few other coupons, so I went in and put the 2 web cams in and also some other stuff to get my cart over the required amount. I then went back into my cart and as long as I kept 1 of the web cams in it I could get the discount and it also kept the other coupon working too even though I was below the required amount by now. So, just to try it somewhere else I went to Buy.com and did the $30 off $150. Went in loaded my cart with $155 of stuff and then removed a $65 item, my cart still shows the $30 coupon and my total is well below the $150 requirement. What's the deal? I've never actually tried to order anything this way, but just putting the question/ idea out there. Has anyone else done this?

I'm pretty sure it won't work at most sites. Once you click the final checkout button, it would give you a warning notice that you don't meet the conditions for the coupon.

If the coupon is for a $100 purchase, and you are attempting to promote a coupon used for a purchase of less than that amount, you would be guilty violating forum rules. I would suggest not trying to suggest this is a hot deal of some kind. It has been done by many. It was caught many times but not every time. I wouldn't suggest it.

I agree with Jamey. It wont work and it is a violation of the forum talking about how to cheat companies.

Well, this isn't about a coupon that much, but a something that has happened to me.

At Buy.com, I purchased something, then used their PM... well, they priced match the $5.98. Then, a day later, they credit it to me again... then again. Overall, I received $17.94 in credit.

Has anyone been through this agonizing hell of being paid all this money from Buy.com?

Anywho, I'm with the rest of these guys, I don't believe you lil coupon scheme will work.
