Thanks OP. "Not available" online for my zip, so ordered by phone---CSR let me use coupon even though the drive is backordered. Hopefully the receipt will reflect the purchase date and not the shipping date.

Receipt usually shows both dates. Only problem is if the unit ships after the rebate expires. when it gets close, you need to get a hold of the company(s) that sponsor the rebate and find out how they will handle the situation. If positive, get the POC name/number to backup your claim.
Also when you send in the rebate (if after the mailing date), attach a statement stating that the POC stated that the rebate would still be accepted.

The Sunday flier showed it at $109, it is somehow cheaper online, I would just wait, they normally ship in a day or so.

OM gave out over 100 at the store I went to, my guess is 90%+ will never get that raincheck filled. IMHO. But I do have mine though.

I put in my zipcode (if you want it pm me) and they said they were in stock but out of the "normal" range so it's classified as a 3-day shipping item instead of next-day (even though their shipping estimate is 6 days )
