lol how can you even run away from that? The banks pretty much have all your info and everything, they can just take it back, as simple as that. I don't get why people try to be dishonest.

I would let them know asap that there is a mistake. Better safe then sorry. Though, waiting a month would make for a nice interest payment if it's a high interest savings account. 😀
