Couple of PSU questions for P4 OC

I'm running a P4 1.6A currently at 2.4 @ 1.55v, 3 fans, 2 7200 RPM HDs, DVD, CDRW, Matrox G450, and an Audigy. But I have a 300W PSU and my 12v line goes down to 11.584v under load. I can't go above 2.4 because if I increase the voltage my computer just resets. Time for a new PSU?

My 300W PSU runs very hot so I'm wondering what would be a decent PSU? I've replaced the stock PSU fan w/ a low db fan because I hate noise. So I need a quiet, low heat, strong PSU. Any suggestions on what PSU and where to buy it? (At a good price please :) I've already dropped $350 on upgrades and I'm broke.)

Would getting a new PSU even help me to OC some more?

Also can I just use a seperate PSU to power some stuff? (I have an older one, I think a 250W). I have an Asus P4b266-C which has the EZ plug which allows you to plug in a regular plug instead of a P4 connector.

Definitely...Though it is stable now that can change quickly. It seems you are on the edge right now anyways.

I got an antec 350 and my 12v line would stay 11.84 or above with 1.8@2.52ghz and 1.775v. I have 2 HDDs, 2 cd-roms, 2 case fans, audigy, GF2 pro, etc....

Would using a seperate PSU to power my HDs/fans be a good idea? Right now my PSU runs VERY hot and I fear it's going to fail on me.
