Just got Opera, and simply love it over IE and Mozilla...

A couple of things bother me though..I searched through the prefs thing but couldn't find out how to get rid of it:

Is there a way to keep the status bar on the bottom of the page, so that if I roll over a link I can know where it leads to?

And secondly is there a way to disable the page browsing setting, in which you click both your mouse buttons to either go forward or backward?

Aaaand finally, is there a way to get to the address bar with a keyboard shortcut? In IE you'd hit ALT + D to get there..

I don't know about your first problem I like everything at the top.

Second you can disable mouse gestures and that should take care of it.

For the third if you hit ctrl-n thats a new page and gets you to the address bar.. I don't know if thats what you need though.

if you hit F2 you can type in a URL in the dialog box that pops up, which should work for you

a) Where do I disable mouse getures at?

b) How do I make opera the default browser? It will load 3rd party links into Opera only if Opera is open..but otherwise it loads IE. I checked the box that makes it check to see if its the default browser, but it doesn't ask me that when I load up..
