When someone asks you "Why do you want to work for us?"
Do not respond with:
"Well, I work so hard at my current job and I'm looking for something where I can kick back and take it easy now."

True story. Wasn't me.

Is it ok to ask, how many sick days you get? Or, how soon can you take your vacation? 🙂

NEVER. that makes it seem like you're more interested in the benefits than the company or the job itself.

Tip that I have to constantly remind myself of: Never tell the HR people that you think their job is complete bullsh!t and that you wish companies would give interviews with people who actually have half a clue about the field you're in.

when i interviewed for the job i have now, i was asked the same question. i just said i was tired of working 10-12 hour days and traveling 100% of the time. mostly to imply i dont like traveling that much. i guess they understood that, there's been no mention of sending me to client sites...

but now i kinda regret it, seeing how most of their client sites are in places like cali, florida, and hawaii.....

my brother went to an interview at a software company in a suit and his interviewer was wearing shorts and a hawaiin shirt. he didn't say anything about it, of course, because he's not stupid.

I might have a skewed perspective. The last interview I had, I was placed in front of 4 police officers in full uniforms & gear. 😀

OOOOhhh ohhhhhhhh, the jokes that I can make from this statement 😀

but I dont wanna be banned again, dont wanna go back to that dark darkkk place 🙁

If they're good ones just PM them to me. 😀
