Question Country switching via router based VPN

Any VPN service that runs on routers that has "on the fly" country switching?
Looking for something simple and straightforward for my non tech savvy parents.

Router config is supposed to set it and forget it.

Expect a VPN router to let end users to change countries all the time does not make any sense at all.

User who changes the country setting on the router will also affect other users who connect to the same router. Other users not necessary want that, however.

Browser extension / VPN software client is your best bet.

Mostly for switching between Netflix regions

We'll be using it for multiple devices like phones, streaming sticks and computers. What I meant was having a separate network for us and them to connect to when we want to use the vpn and switch between netflix regions.
I was picturing something like an openwrt based router, or at least getting my own and flashing their software
