Today's country = pop w/a twang.

The days of the singer/songwriter in modern country are gone.

Oh, where are the Willies and Johnnys of yesteryear?
 
What we really need are these young, urban black people to embrace country music as their own and form a fusion of the two art forms, country and rap, to form country-rap, or "crap".
 
country is not my favorite, but it's better than rap. I'd much rather hear about some guy who got drunk when his girlfriend cheated on him than about some "ni*ga slapping his bitches in his bling-bling escalade, fo shizzle".

I like all forms of music except country. I cannot stand it.
 
Saying country or rap is crap is about as ignorant and stereotypical as saying music is crap

Each has it's good and bad sides.


I would agree that the majority of popular country and rap artists of today
are crap, save a few. The same holds true for other genres as well.
