Man, I've heard little about them until I borrowed my friends cd's August and Everyhting After, and This Desert Life. Wow, they make an extremely good use of instruments, particularly piano, bass guitar, and drums, good vocals, and lyrics that really fit the rhythm. All My Friends, Amy Hit the Atmosphere, Colorblind, and Mrs. Potters Lulluby are the best of what I've heard (Haven't heard their other 2 cd's). So what do you think?

Round here is pretty good, but about a half-a-dozen songs down the list of my favorites. I urge everyone to check out 'This Desert Life', which came out in 1999, if nothing else than on Napster or whereever you download your songs.

August And Everything After is one of my favorite CDs. I still listen to it (despite it being about 8 years old) and never get sick of it. I like some of their newer stuff (Colorblind from Cruel Intentions is a good song) but I think that AAEA was their best.

All their stuff sounds the same. I listened to the 'Recovering the Satellites' disc, man, the whole thing seemed like one continuous song.

I can't really disagree with bolomite. They do seem to have similar rhythms, but I like it so it's a plus.
