So I finally got around to trying CS:Source out with a buddy. I was always a UT fan.

I was able to set up a server on my own box but I have a couple of probably simple questions...

1. How do I "manage" teams? Basically, I want me, my buddy and a bot vs 3 bots. Is there a way to assign a bot to the other team while playing? I set up the game with 6 players (4 bots) and set the bots team to random but whenever I start the game a bot gets kicked out whenever my friend joins.

2. Is there any way to disable auto-buy?

3. Are there any mods that you would recommend?

1. I think you should use an AMX mod or something to do that

2. Auto-buy for what? The bots or the whole function itself so you don't accidentally click on the autobuy key?

1. You can change what teams the bots join in the bot options when you are setting up a new game. Alternatively, once you are in game, you can always add or remove bots by using the bot_ commands in the console. Type bot_ and a list will appear; arrow down to the command you want. I believe to add a bot to the ct team, it's bot_add_ct. bot_add_t for terrorist.
2. Why would you want to disable it? Just don't use it.
3. There are no mods I would recommend if you're just playing with your friend, and, seeing as you dont know a lot about CS:S, it would be better to just play normal.
