Counterstrike: Source/HL2 game server: System requirements?

What kind of system to do you need to run a dedicated CS:S or HL2M server anyway? I found one person saying any 1ghz cpu is enough, which I have no idea if it was pulled out of his ass or not. What kind of bandwidth does each user slot require?

Memory? CPU? Maybe I missed it, but planethalflife didn't even seem to have this information.

I don't know off the top of my head, but maybe look at some of the companies that sell servers and see what their specs are.
