hello,

i just recently got into CS, (and am starting to regret it b/c i play all night) but i was looking through this forum and saw that some people are playing offline? how is this possible? does it have anything to do with bots?

also, how do you tweak CS? heard it alot on the forums, i.e. FPS?
i am currently using aol and connect at 50,666 kps.(i know, i know, i will be getting DSL soon) and running Win 2K.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

 
PodBot does seem to be the consensus for offline play, although I have not tried it myself.

As for tweaks, check out this site for some good info. Mostly graphics-type stuff, but also some network tweaks. You'll like DSL once you get it, I consistently have hundreds of servers to choose from with 60 ping or less.😀
