How do you put the password for a game into the console when you connect?

before you try to connect (obviously) put in, without quotes, "password theactualpasswordhere".

a tip-
If you have a favorite server, make a copy of the CS shorcut and go to its properties. then add +password xxxx(if needed) and +connect (server adress) and then all you have to do is click on the icon.
