With GUNS higher than but including RIFLE class, they can shoot thru ALL doors(reduced damage tho) , ALL small boxes(also reduced damage), some walls(not much tho).
 
Silenced is usually preferred for me. When rushing, it doesn't matter much to not see the muzzle flash, but later in the game, its important not to show where you are firing from. The bullet spread and damage is virtually the same, anyone that heavily believes otherwise doesn't play CS enough.

B -> 4 -> 3 -> right click (secondary fire) which means silcencer on🙂
then my flashes and grens..

The 2 reasons why I put it on is because of the way it sounds when firing.. and its accuracy...
 
The M4 sucks regardless of how it's used. The only rifle worse than the M4 is the AUG. I'll take the AK or the Sig over either of those.

The Desert Eagle is the only pistol that can shoot through objects, and I believe the UMP is the only SMG that can.

All wooden objects can be penetrated (boxes on de_dust). Most "walls" (house in cs_militia) can be shot through. Things that are difficult to penetrate are rocks (de_prodigy, cs_militia).

The weapons that can penetrate are all rifles, the desert eagle, the para. The MP5 and UMP have very minor penetrating ability, but very minor (you can shoot say a corner, but not directly through an object).

i simply change the sound for the unsuppressed shot to the suppressed shot, so it sounds like im using silenced and getting that psychological better aim, and in the meanwhile getting the extra power of unsuppressed fire 😀

I have a 1:4 kill ratio, so I don't think it really matters if I silence or not 🙁

but I silence because it makes my 'gun' look BIGGER...
chicks dig it 🙂

I don't even know what the guns are called, but I only play CT and I press b43

LOL! M4 is the easiest weapon in the game to master, IMO. It's also one of the most effective.

I don't really care. Either way I get my head shots. I actually rush with the deagle, and then change to the m4 when the other guys life is low.
 
Those web pages are actually pretty interesting. They did a lot of tests that could effectively give you a pretty good edge.

AK has slowly been replacing the M4 as my favorite gun in cs. Once you learn to use it right and control your shooting, its deadly and very effective.
 
Hehe the M4A1 or "Colt" as it is known rocks!!!!...just see how many players use it in CS and pick one up lying around if they have a different weapon,I nearly always get mine stolen if I get killed,maybe I should start charging 😉 for it.

TIP: buy a colt. press right click to silence, but before it's done change to knife (or any other weapon). when you pick the colt again, it will be silenced 🙂 so it doesnt take long to silence the gun for me (and for you now that you have learned this trick 😛)
 
nice try johnee, but try shooting immediately after you do your little trick. it doesn't work! there's a slight lag time before you can shoot your gun

i'm not questioning your ablilty to play. I'm only referring to the lack of knowledge behind your opinion. I'll be MORE than happy to play with or against you. I usually play in this server called DOMAIN OF DEATH [1/2] where Punk Buster is required @ around 3-6 PM Pacific Time. I'm usually in there with most of my |G|'s so if you'd like to come in and play lets do it. You get your AK I'll get my AUG, and we'll see what happens.

i'm getting the ip, i'll edit and post it.

I'm no CS god, I only started playing a few days ago after a 9 month hiatus. But my kill ratio the last couple days is usually around 3:1. Not too shabby for someone who apparently "hasn't played the game enough."
