I havent played in a while. What new things have been added? Any new weapons in the past couple updates? Also have they got rid of the cheating yet?

I just started back 2 days ago, I didn't notice too much new, they have a lot of new anti cheat programs that will search your hard drive, also they have added a bunch of cool admin side tools that can run custom scripts (text)

cheating is still a problem though...have to just find one server where they have good admins who are on often...

i thought i was golden after i got punkbuster... but i keep getting kicked off servers becuz i don't have this or that anti-cheat.

I was gonna reinstall it but now I ain't I remember having to fool with punkbuster and all that crap and decided to just drop it. Untill its fixed(if ever) then I will try it again. But by then Unreal II will prob be out and CS will be history to me anyway.

So now that PunkBuster is dead, what does the user need to do to play a cheat-free game?

Not that PB was perfect, but it was a step in the right direction.

I still play quite a bit. It's just hard to find good servers nowadays. I usually stick with a few servers where I know the admins and there are no/few cheaters. Cheating-Death is an anti-cheat similar to punkbuster, a good amount of servers run it now. My server requires it, and we havent had very many problems with cheaters at all. If you guys are looking for a good server, check out the one in my sig. You'll find me on there as [-|-]BigBen.

The most popular anti-cheat out now is csguard, which works very well. You don't need to download anything for CSGuard to work. Most servers will have it. I've noticed very few cheaters playing on CSguard servers.

haha Cheating death and cs guard are lame. I haxor all the time in those kinds of servers. They do absolutely nothing! Half the time the cd and csg dont even authenticate!
