How many of you still play this game? I find myself still playing this about everyday, and it's been a year since I was introduced to it.

I used to play everyday when it was first released (back in late 99/early 2000), but I have not played in quite some time. I was sick of getting banned from servers, accused of cheating, etc.

Damn whiners and campers spoil the game.

*Note: I never once cheated at CounterStrike.

yea me either ..

I always get blamed for cheating as well.. I take it as a compliment. I only got banned from certain servers. Basically servers with turds as admins.
 
i will never play that game online because there is always one guy how cheats. totally ruined the game for me. now i only play at lan games and if we catch or suspect a cheater someones getting a beat down.
 
counter strike is still the most popular online game by far

i play it all the time, even to 2:00 in the morning till i pass out

UT2k3 isn't that much fun .. but that's just me.

then let's say battlefield 1942, thats pretty damn addictive, and i still see less servers there

i think it has to do with the setting, maps and game mods of counter strike. Never bought 2k3 but have reg UT with tacops on it and i like that more the counterstrike just cause it has bots. Now i know that there a bots for CS but there aren't as many maps you can play them on. I do agree that CS is totally over rated now but the fact is that people are way too deep into that game. Sort of like some colleges and halo. Its a good game but they play the sh!t out of it.
