Yeah, I can sell this and pick up 1 or 2 ST knives of lower quality if I wanted to.

A flip knife or a Gut knife or something. Then still have enough for a low quality ST AWP asiimov or something similar.

You could buy a nice real knife with that cash.

It boggles the mind that people are willing to part with hundreds of actual dollars for an ingame item that offers no performance advantage of any kind.

Have you ever played an MMO?

People are very much into cosmetic customization of their in-game avatars, just as much as people like to play dress up when they go out.

Congrats on the sale. I just happened to open a Butterfly Slaughter(minimal wear) tonight. They're currently going for roughly $350 on the Steam Market. Only problem is that I already have way to many games in my current backlog. Steam bucks seem kinda useless to me right now.

What other use is it? At this point consider it as not spending any more money in Steam for a very long time and thus more money for beer.

Lol, good point. I usually don't buy recently released games, but I just may start after I sell this.

I put it on the market for $395 and it sold within a few minutes. $343.59 added to my Steam bucks account. Hahaha, wow.

Even if you are going to buy newer games I would still buy them when they are on sale for $30 or even less.

Man, those knives look very realistic shorty. Impressive.

so how do you get the keys to open the boxes? i think i have 2 boxes...

$2.50 per key. odds are against you getting anything worth over $2.50. But those who get lucky can snag something worth $400+

yeah, that's because it's actually worth closer to $500-600 depending how it looks. The market is capped at $400 though so you would have had to use a 3rd party site or private trades to have actually gotten that much.

You still made good money getting $340 :p

I'm sure I could've made more if I had traded for keys or other skins, but I took the cash credit as a sure thing.

All this talk made me feel like gambling. I spent 11 on Pheonix cases and keys, and made about $3.50 back. Guess it just wasn't my day.
