counter strike training map

Just started playing CS also....how do you get the training level to work...it says it can't find the proper map. if i am missing the map, anyone know where i can DL it or what it is called...thanks

Training map? Never knew there was one. Just go on, play, have fun and you'll get the hang of it.

I agree, just start playing. I use to walk 5 steps and then...headshot, watch the other people play, buy new gun. But now I am up to 40-50 steps

I believe the Training mode only works in the retail version of CS. I can't get it to work either and that's what I was told.

Not much to the training.

Your in CT training school and one gets acquainted with the hud, weapon handling, weapon usage, target practice under live fire with the MP5, sniper training with the AWM, bomb planting and defusal in the blast bit, and mock hostage rescue under live fire.

thanks, but that's what i did for the first 2 weeks...then i realized i can pick up other people's rifles on the ground, haha.

there is another thread here that has bots where you can play as a LAN game. it is pretty good, &quot;PodBot&quot; or something. it is good practice if you don't want to go over the net.

C-S.net has a bot section, just run your own LAN game with a bunch of bots.
