And you can tell he is clueless to the competitive gaming scene with this game. When he goes into the lag thing he doesn't even know what server tic is and how to read net_graph. Also he uses 10 sensitivity, which basically means he sucks unless he is the rare case of someone being actually good with that sens.

I don't have a problem with kill cam or any or the achievements or w/e because I know there are server side commands to disable those.

To say counter strike is still the exact same is just wrong though. This video doesn't go into any of the competitive gaming complaints. He says he gets 100 fps without fraps, but my graphs show I supposedly average 600 fps when I can tell it is infact lower. TBH if I was on an LCD stuck at 60hz I probably wouldn't be able to tell my performance was really fluctuating, But on a CRT with sensitive eyes its quite obvious something is wrong with the game.

Also, just because he doesn't have a bug doesn't mean its not out there, for instance there are videos and videos on youtube of the ragdoll problem, but because he doesn't have that issue it doesn't exist apparently.

Game runs flawlessly for me, no lag or FPS issues at all. Just screamingly fast. My only complaint is that 4+ years of playing isn't counted in my stats. That would be something.

So how do you change your name in the game?

I thought there used to be a way to do it in the options menu, or using the console command 'name <insert name>', but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Probably the same as TF2, you just need to go to the Community page and change it there. Hit "shift+tab" in game and go to the Friends page, then change your nickname from there.
