counter strike FPS

i've amd 900, 512 ram windows ME. Geforce4 Ti4200.

i played counter strike and im gettin' 50-70 Fps with Ti4200..is that correct? what should i be gettin'..?

u could get 99fps (which is the max for CS) if u had a faster cpu 😀

btw, what res r u running, and do u have all details pumped up?

Your processor is limiting your GF4, a lot. So is your OS, Millenium is the worst.

As Spanky asked, what res you running at and what features are enabled (FSAA, filtering, etc.)

you may want to try typing "fps_max 99" in console, because CS may be limiting your FPS to 71.

Yeah, you should be getting more, my 1.13@ 1226 Athlon with a Ti200 @ 240/544 gets constant 99fps unless smoke nades are released, even at then, its never below 50. Thats with Aniscopic filtering Level 8, 1024x768x32.

Get a faster cpu, and you'll notice a world of improvement.

uhh...try editing your config file in your cstrike directory
make sure you set your "max_fps 100"
