3) This thread will/should prolly be locked, considering the last CS thread I spent 5 minutes typing a reply, got locked while typing.. I thought it was more on topic then this one.

this is really starting to piss me off... mods... if you are going to lock threads that belong in other forums, why not be consistent??? i can name about 10 threads right now in the top 50 that belong in other forums, but are they moved or locked??? nope, never... why do you only go for CS threads?? i havent seen one thread that has been moved or locked that wasnt related to cs...

some examples are laptops, free email services, usenet clients, the ENDLESS amount of Napster threads, and other dowload programs and or clients... blah blah blah, why arent these threads being moved or lockeD?

Because we have limited time. I haven't read any other threads that don't belong where they are, and so I haven't locked those. Make sense? There aren't 500 mods, but there are 270,000 posts per month. We can only do so much. I happen to see a lot of CS threads, and I would like to see them where they belong: Software/Games forums.

It's a circular argument: people say that they don't post in those forums because they don't get enough traffic; yet those forums don't get enough traffic because not enough people post there. I hope to circumvent that through moderate moderation.
