Counter-Strike, Admin Login!?

Hi there!

I just got the password for one of the servers im supposed to help admin. Im learning rcon commands and all that but i cant figure out what the command for logging in as as admin is?! None of the lists of commands have that particular command listed.

Can anyone tell me what the command for logging in as an admin on a server is?

rcon_password yourpassword should do the trick. If you have physical access to the server, I would suggest running adminmod. It's a great tool / asset. Counter Strike Server Help

are you sure you have rcon?? I am an admin, but i dont have rcon. I use the admin mod login. I bound a key like this:
bind "x" "admin_password password"

then when i join the server, i just tap the key and admin powers on!

another way to do it is to add:
setinfo "pw" "password" to you autoexec and then you should be logged in as well, but this 2nd version is not good because if you go to any other server, they can get your password.

Im admin on 4 servers and from my expereince, you need to be a regular on the server and act like an adult. The ppl who complain alot and constantly call map votes dont seem to get admin
