Taking bets on how long it will be until:

A. Right-wingers start complaining that Obama hasn't spent 100% of his time dealing with the east coast storm or its effects;
B. Right-wingers start complaining that Obama is spending too much of his time dealing with the east coast storm or its effects and claim that he's doing so for political reasons;
C. Both at the same time.

My guess: Tuesday morning.

Well look at it this way, the judgement of God in hurricane Sandy is not heading toward red States like hurricanes usually do, as this time Sandy targets a whole swath of traditional blue States.

But then again, maybe Hurricane Sandy is targeting that GOP Den of inequity located at Wall Street. As God floods Wall Street and spares the rest of the normally required fire and Brimstone.

Too be fair, Bush took a huge hit because Katrina was his fault. Will the Right do the same? Maybe, but I visit a site that is most illuminating in terms of what the Right thinks. So far they are cracking jokes, but their serious ire is directed at the Libyan incident.

Ok this is sick but funny.

Maybe there is a god :D

This is a very, very dangerous situation. People will probably die no matter what the president does or does not do, but it's hardly a right-wing thing to never let a crisis go to waste.

Of course the other thing to point out, is that hurricanes and their Pacific Ocean counterparts called Typhoons have been ravaging our planet long before even the time of the dinosaurs.

As its taken hundreds of millions years to finally arrive at a time of smarter humans who can finally explain the real cause of typhoons and hurricanes. As they are caused by human sin and no other cause will suffice. And dare we hope, after man kind kills off our species in global thermonuclear war, God can finally dispense with hurricanes and earthquakes as agents of global slum clearance. Or then again, God will probably retain the use of hurricanes and Earthquakes, after all, they have been so useful in the past, even if none is left to explain their real causes.

I'm waiting for one of our tools to post a thread entitled "Hurricane Sandy-the gift that keeps giving" or somesuch.

BTW I think a Tuesday start for such criticism is way too late.

<--still has power but damn near everything in the state is already canceled.

They were actually discussing this issue on Morning Joe this AM. The consensus there was Romney won't risk another premature Arab uprising newsconference (although the public seems to blissfully ignore his numerous screwups) and play it safe by saying absolutely nothing regardless of what happens.

If that's true, it's actually encouraging that the guy isn't quite as stupid as he seemed over the summer.

Of course, he'll have attack dog surrogates to do his dirty work for him anyway.

Oh the ironing, left wingers attempting opportunism by pre-emptively complaining about supposed right wingers and their opportunism. Brilliant! :D

Your 1 shows your ignorance . Obummmer has done Sandy storm commericails declaring a State of readyness. When has a president ever done this ? Thats were the attack will come from . obummer pandeering for votes its equaled only by this type of pandering
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JB7fhN5-RI&noredirect=1
MN is now Romney its not a blue state anymore. Last night our organization has decided to use the methods I been using recently .. I voting for Obummer to give the Demons what they deserve phys. It works well . So you will see much more of my tune showing up on Forums everywhere . But the social networks are the target . Were the 10,000 and we mean business

Your 2 . None will complain about his time spent preparing . Only Demons saying their repulsives. Worse thing for obummer now is for the storm not to live up to hype. I won't commit on that aspect.

Your 3 . Your full of shit.

Who knows, Benghazigate has more potential.

That said the left shouldnt be lecturing the right about using a natural disasters for political gain. Because after Katrina FEMA wasnt able to cover an area the size of MN in a few days Bush was harshly criticized.

Revising the Bush days still seems to be popular sport here...

No, Bush was harshly criticized for things like going to a ball game, attending the final hours-long emergency meeting about Katrina and not asking a single question, getting caught lying about "we are fully prepared," and having it all highlight what a failure he and his nepotistic ways were when the nation realized he put an Arabian horse judge with no real experience in as the head of FEMA.
Bush was somehow unable to follow in the footsteps of previous presidents when it came to a serious national disaster, people died, and no amount of hindsight spin will change that.

I guess everyone has already forgotten the race to blame Obama for the Gulf oil spill, you know, 'Obama's Katrina' *snort*

You sound angry. And I was one of the few on here who was surprised Obama took so much flak for the oil spill disaster.
